The comprehensive eye exam includes an updated glasses prescription, eye health assessment, eye pressure check ,retina photos and an OCT scan (thorough scan of the macula and optic nerve which is useful in detecting concerns such as glaucoma, etc.). The current cost of our premium comprehensive eye exam is $200.

major eye examinations for all patients with medical conditions that affect the eye such as but not limited to diabetes, cataracts or glaucoma.
The Ontario Disability Support Program Vision Care Benefit provides:
routine eye examinations (once every two years and no follow-ups) for those eligible if coverage under OHIP is not available
assistance with the cost of prescription eyeglasses (once every three years) for you, your spouse and your children under 18 years of age
assistance with the cost of eyeglass repairs for you, your spouse and your children under 18 years of age.

Cost varies depending on selected program that is most suitable for your child’s myopia treatment. Those include:
Low-dose atropine eye drops
Specialty soft daily disposable (i.e. MiSight or Abiliti dailies contact lenses)
Orthokeratology (Corneal Reshaping)
Peripheral defocus glasses (ex. Hoya Miyosmart, Essilor Stellest)

We offer contact lens fitting and training sessions for any new wearers. If you have had an eye exam recently elsewhere, you are welcome to bring your updated glasses prescription (need to be within the last 2 years) and we can get the training started right away during your appointment.
We also offer contact lens fitting for single and multifocal contact lenses for those who have worn them previously to provide you with an updated contact lens prescription and trials. The cost is in addition to your comprehensive eye exam.
Specialty contact lenses such as RGP, OrthoK, scleral and other lenses are offered. Please inquire with one of our staff to see how we can help to meet your needs.

Our doctors can provide LASIK consultations and any post-operation follow-ups. They can refer patients to (but not limited to) TLC, Lasik MD, and the Bochner Eye Institute.
